Brooklyn Catering Halls

Has anyone looked into Brooklyn for their wedding. I saw an item in the Daily News about the Rotunda at Kingsborough Community College and a friend mentioned Riviera Caterers... anyone look at or book any of these?

I have been to the Riviera. I also recommend El Caribe and Gargiulos. They are all great IMO.

I went to a Christmas party where they rented all the rooms in EL Caribe the food was good and the place was beautiful

I will def. look into both of those venues...but I was looking for a place that had some sort of area for pictures as well but I am not sure if I will find that in brooklyn. I know there is always the botanical gardens but its out of my price range.

Riviera is the best!
El Caribe is GREAT my sister got married there
Baku Palace is really good

ive heard great things about bubbys in brooklyn. its a restaurant but right in DUMBO by the bridge and water. ive heard its very affordable and has good food.

I looked at the Rivera, it was nice, but not really my scene for my wedding, you should check them out.

What at Gargulios?

Riviera is great my MOH of got married there a few years ago and the food! OMG theres food forever and the service unreal, everytime my drink was almost done there was a waiter with another Ketel One & Bailey's
I priced El Caribe, the food I heard, was also wonderful but they didn't have an outdoor area.
Brooklyn Botanical Garden Palm House-Ive seen beautiful pictures
The Boat House in Prospect Park was beautiful, outside catering from an exclusive list of caterers.

Stage 6 at Steiner Studios (i think that's what it's called)....it's an Abigail Kirsch catering facility. Loft-feel if that's what you're looking for....gorgeous views.

i also heard great things about stage 6, its an abigail kirsch location so the food will be great but i heard its pricey

i wouldnt worry about the RH having a location for pics. You'll see that many of us take pics elsewhere, i am not taking pics at my rh. We're either going to the city or brooklyn promenade. Many even go to gardens and parks JUST for pics
