Can anyone recommend a good photographer, mixture of photojournalistic and tradiditional, moderately priced in Brooklyn or Staten Island? I met with one in SI and one in BK and was not impressed. One was way overpriced and the other did not even have albums to look at or any actually pictures. They sat there showing me pictures off their computer screen and nothing was included in their packages.

did you check modern art? if you get gene (he is the main photog/owner) prices are more expensive then if you use his associates. but i heard good things about both.
i also heard there video is not that great. so keep that in mind.

ooh...also j'adore love is in brooklyn - sunset park - and their prices are reasonable, but they didnt have any albums to show us

I'm using Photography Elite on 3rd ave in Bay Ridge. Angel is doing my wedding and he does excellent work... they are a little pricey but well worth it.
There is also Sal Mar Studios on Avenue U and Aldo on 18th avenue that are moderately priced
Remember price depends on the type of package you select.

Have you looked at True Love Wedding, Aldo photographers, or Photo FX Studio?
We are using True Love... really love their work and they offer diff packages you can customize any of them and they pair you up with a photog that fits your style. Most of their photogs do more than one style.
Half my friends and family used Aldo....they are awesome and always produce good work.
One friend used Val Rozanoff... here is his website. http://www.rozanoff.com/ Very reasonable and does a great job.
