Anyone else doing this at their reception? I have a special relationship with my brother so it seemed appropriate that I do something special during the reception for him.
I think I have the song picked but am open to other suggestions if anyone has any.

awww what a nice idea- i htink i would do it if i had a brother. friend of mine did as she was close with her brother and danced to wind beneath my wings- it was very touching

i am so glad u posted this!!! i am. my father doesnt dance, bcuz of religious reasons, so i would NEVER think of even asking him to participate in a father/daughter dance so I am doing the dance with both of my brothers.

I was thinking of doing this with both of my brothers, dancing to one song and dancing half and half with them

I have an older and a younger brother... However, it may sound rude but I am also having a brother/sister dance, with my older brother only....
Some may not think the song i have picked out is 'appropriate' but I am dancing to Far Away by Nickelback with my brother.... We are very close and he is in Iraq right now and has been for the past 15 months... So I am def dancing with him to that song at the wedding... I dont look at it as a 'love'song... It holds a different meaning to me...
So I happen to think its a great idea!

my FH danced with his sister at HER WEDDING.. we aren't sure if we are doing it again or not... for our wedding.. just because we have SOO MANY SPECIAL DANCES TO DO.......
but they danced to 'Somewhere out there' it was ADORABLe.. I saw it on tape

i am pretty close with my brother as we're our mother's only kids but i never thought of doing this. something to consider i guess.

I DONT HAVE BROTHERS OR SISTERS..BUT IF I HAD ..I WOULD DEF. DO IT! ITS A GREAT IDEA!!!!! AND I PROBABLY TELL MY FH TO DO THAT!

I dont think they should be offended. You are the bride and should be able to do whatever you like.
I know in my case my FH asked if he should dance with his sis since I was going to dance with my brother- and I asked him not to because I felt it would detract from the fact that I was doing the dance with my bro as a special 'thank you'. I wasnted my brother to feel as special as my Dad.
