Brown BM Dress with Black Tux??

I chose a beautiful Levkoff dress for my girls with Euro Sable (chocolate) dress and Euro Lilac Sash - How do I match this with a Tux?!? AHHHH!!! I wasnt thinking!!

try to match the vest and tie; don't worry about the tux being black. My sister's dress is chocolate brown - I don't see an issue with the guys wearing black tuxes.

It's ok my friend had a similar situation the girls were in chocolate brown dresses and the guys had on black tux's with brown vests

My BM dresses are chocolate brown too, I dont think there is anything wrong with getting a black tux as long as you try to match it with some kind of brown vest. I was thinking of actually going a brown tux for the guys but its really just a matter of taste..

We did chocolate brown bm dress and with black tuxes and a champagne vest/tie. It look sooo nice together…see pics below:

Brown and black are colors found in nature together so it will be FINE! That is always the rule of thumb with color matching; if found in nature, it can work.

You can easily tie them in by making their ties the same color as teh girl's sashes. And you can make their boutioneeres pick up on the colors in their dresses as well.

It will look great.

i dont personally like when the vest matches the bridesmaid dress - i think it looks old school and it reminds me of 80's/90's - thats just my personal opinion though - i dont like when the outfits are very matchy...i did kind of like the vests the guys at TWOTY were wearing though - i think they were a chapagne color....i think that a nice black tux compliments any color and will always look classy and elegant....check out some reviews - there are a few girls with dark brown BM dresses - that way you can see what they did.....if you do a colored vest i like chapagne or taupe with brown instead of matching it perfectly....

I dont think a black tux would clash at all! Black is sleek and sophistacted and ultra classy...i think it goes with everything...u cant go wrong with black.....if u really want to match the tie and vest thats ok...but black will look really nice!

i forgot about the lilac sash! maybe all black tux and tie.....or try it with a lilac tie? for some reason its hard for me to get a visual right now my brain isnt working

My girls are wearing chocolate brown too and I am not a fan of the brown vest and tie with a black tux.

So the guys will either be wearing brown tuxes (FH hasn't gone to look yet) or champagne vest and tie.

Since you have a lilac sash you can try and do that color.

It doesn't have to match -- just coordinate.

I am having brown bridesmaid dresses and black tuxes. I saw a few girls who had the grooms wear a brown tie and it looked fine.

That one is actually Gorgeous!!! But how much does that cost?!?! I'm trying not to make anyone spend too much - If I can find a brown tux and affordable - then hell yeah!!! Thanks!!!

WOW I love brown and lavender or any purple with it. I wanted my daughter to do those colors but she chose brown dresses for the girls and her flowers were burgundy, cream and gold. You can see them in my album. The boys wore black tuxes and they looked great with the girls brown dresses. Can't wait to see picks of what you are doing.

I like the one someone posted that had the champage colord vests. Or a lilac tie and/or vest (it the guys are ok with wearing lilac.)

I plan to do chocolate brown dresses, and the guys will wear black tuxes. I think it'll look totally fine.

I really like the picture above with the black tux and champagne vests!!!! My BM dress has a champagne sash around it, so champagne vests on the guys would probably compliment it nicely.
