brunch day after

brunch day after

for whoever booked or has a price quote, how much are you paying and what are you getting for that?
how many ppl?

I got a quote of $18 pp for the food (I am happy with this, seems we're getting a lot for a normal price)
and on top of that extra $20 pp for the drink choices of bloody mary, screwdriver, wine and beer (as many as we want)
does this makes sense???? a whole $20 pp EXTRA??? seems too high esp its not in the city

$20pp seems like A LOT for just that alcohol... thats like an open bar price...

I haven't started to look into it yet but $20pp for just drinks seems a bit high to me. But then when you put it together $38pp for food and drink doesn't sound that bad.

Ang, open bar is when u can get whatever u want right? not just a choice of certain drinks, correct?

18 pp for food is really good! All in 38pp for food and drink is still amazing! Maybe they will knock it to 15 pp, but i still think you are ahead of the game.

our brunch is $29/pp but doesn't include alcohol. it includes a really nice spread of breakfast and lunch items. i would ditch the booze - they'll be drinking enough at the wedding (and at the RD).

edit for typo

its brunch tho - a limited menu, so not sure how I feel about that. my cousin paid $50 pp and got a whole banquet

depends if you have a lot of drinkers -- then it could be worth it. Esp the bloody mary's - they work wonders the morning after a night out.

Im having the same debate as well - half of the ppl are big drinkers/young ppl, but the other half are coffee/juice drinkers.

FILs are paying for the brunch and they have not really involved me in the decision-making process (no need to get into the drama details here) but i know we are going to have a limited menu, and its about 40 pp. Not sure abould alcohol, but i think we are only serving mimosa and bloodies, no beer or wine.

I need to set the brunch up. I've also gotten the $30 pp price including alcohol.

I just hate paying so much per person when they have a muffin!

can you maybe run an open tab?? it might come out cheaper that way.......

we did this for my sisters baby shower....we were going to add the unlimited alcohol but didn't think it was going to pay itself off for an additional $12 a person....we ran a tab and it came out to half the price of what we would have paid.......

Ours is $19.95pp and includes:

Assorted juices
Seasonal fruit
Yogurts, cold cereals and granola
Bagels, mufins, and breads
Scrambled eggs
Breakfast potatoes
Bacon
French Toast
Coffee and tea

We're not doing anymore alcohol - we figure people will be detoxing, lol.

that is very similar to what I am getting:

muffins and crousons for the table
personal greek salad (my ppl love salad in the morning )
then a choice of 1:
- 3 eggs any way w/choice of 3 toppings
- stuffed french toast w/ham on the side
- pancakes w/fruit and ham on the side
- chicken pesto panini w/potatoes
- bagels w/cream cheese and lox

unlimited coffee and juices

all of that is 18pp

but then the $20 for drinks pp is very annoying!!!!
