BRUNCH LOCATIONS?

My fiance and I are looking for a location to host a brunch 'get-together'. It would be before the wedding for about 50 close family members. I guess you can say it would be labeled as a 'rehearsal' since it would be the morning of the wedding. The hitch is that we are not having the traditional 'reception' and plan on going straight on our honeymoon...ANY locations/ideas anyone would have is wonderful. Thanks again for everyones help during this tough time of deciding what to do!! Hope everyone had a great turkey day and gets to enjoy time w/ their families. Enjoy.

BRUNCH LOCATIONS?

Try the WaterMill in Smithtown. I am sure they have a private room for 50 people. The Wyndam Wind Watch in Hauppauge also does a nice brunch and can probably give you some private area. Danford in Pt. Jefferson is really nice and I think it costs around $27.00pp for brunch. In Nassau you may want to check out the Miller Ridge Inn and Maine Maid Inn. Both are nice and do brunch. How are you working this all? Just curious. Are you hosting the brunch as a couple and then going to a Church for a ceremony and then the limo takes you straight to the airport?

BRUNCH LOCATIONS?

I was also going to suggest a hotel...I am having a brunch the day after my wedding for out of town guests and other family members at the Huntington Hilton...I think it ranges from about 10-25$ pp... for the higher price you get an omlette station and LI salmon and things like that...

Some Feedback?

We are not exactly sure how we are working all of this just yet...We are still looking into it... Can someone give me some feedback on what they think of the idea? Or any suggestions how I can make it better? Thanks

Some Feedback?

Great idea. There's no reason you have to have a reception at all. If you choose to have a get together before, I think people would enjoy something different. Go for it. It's your wedding and you can do whatever you choose to do. If this is how you want to do it, don't listen to what other's think you're 'suppose' to do. I think it's great. I had suggested a brunch at the Milleridge, they have a restaurant also, not part of the catering facilities. Try calling and see if they'll do a brunch for 50.
