How did they coordinate on what to do or which one to do first?

I was thinking about doing both also

i wanted to make wedding wands but got bubbles for super cheap, so we went with that!

We will probably do bubbles. We can't throw anything besides bird seed at the church. and I do NOT want that stuff going down my dress lol

i saw the cutest bubbles from orientaltrading..they are mini champagne bottles! i think im going to buy them and put a ribbon around it...who hands them out at church or do you just leave a basket in the back of church for people to take themselves??

At the entrance I had a vase with the wands and a basket with the bubbles. The women took what they wanted, most men took nothing. there were both in the air at the same time.

Im going to do bubbles probably cause they are cheaper than the wands. Check with your church onw hat you can throw. Due to liability we cant have anything that would stay on the sidewalk (ie birdseed, rice etc...). Another idea is bells for everyone to ring.

I am going to be making wands. I was in a wedding last year and our dresses were satin and the bubbles left marks all over the dresses.

Most places won't let you throw rice anymore. It's unsafe for birds, because when they eat it, it expands and basically suffocates them.

My mom wants me to do glitter, because she saw a picture of how it looks. It looks beautiful, but I'd spend the rest of the day shaking glitter from every nook and cranny of my hair, dress, and body. LOL

At my cousin's wedding a few years ago, they gave out tiny bells with heart-shaped handles and everybody rang them when the bride and groom came out of the church. I LOVED this and kind of want to do it for mine. The only reason I feel weird about doing it, however silly the reason is, is because they got married the same date I'll be getting married - 7/3. Maybe it's not a big deal, but you get my thought process?

If I don't do this, I'll probably do bubbles since my church pretty much doesn't allow anything else, lol.

I was going to do disolvable rice. It looks like little white hearts...but now I'm thinking I don't want them to go down my dress...or in my eye! lol
