I was going to do disolvable rice. It looks like little white hearts...but now I'm thinking I don't want them to go down my dress...or in my eye! lol

OMG this was exactly my thought. I wanted to do it but I dont want it stuck in my hair and dress. I LOVE the idea of flower petals in the cones. Im shooting for that one!

I am going to be making wands. I was in a wedding last year and our dresses were satin and the bubbles left marks all over the dresses.

Just a quick FYI, there is no truth at all about the rice killing birds. It is totally untrue and started in the 80's when Ann Landers wrote misinformation in one of her letters. It is just a myth, as a matter of fact, many birds eat rice as part of their diets.

they had these on the 4 weddings that was at my venue. i felt bad for the butterflies, they were like stunned from being in these envelopes so long... and they didnt even fly much because of it!

I saw that also. It is weird when they are in those little boxes. It's amazing they can survive.

I saw that also. It is weird when they are in those little boxes. It's amazing they can survive.

Most butterflies don't survive being in the boxes. I'd think it was a bad omen that an animal/insect died at my wedding... but that's just me haha

that is NOT cool lol. Cruel. I would never do that if u want butterflies at your wedding get married in a forest or something LOL

I wonder if venue's have problems with using sparklers inside.
