I was trying to stay at 15,000, but the hall is going to be about 18k and I am hoping to not pay anymore than 23k if that much, because I can not afford that much. I have not started with flowers , photographer or DJ. I am trying to cut down on it, but I want a good photographer and DJ. CP and flowers are negotiable, if anyone has any good affortable places invitations, FM me

ours was 30k.
if you dont include our honeymoon- our 'budget' ended up being about 52k. LOL

that does not include wedding rings or anything of that nature.

oh the nice house we could have had..

but it was worth it- every single penny!

Yea that budget thing is not was I was intending when I got engaged. I am above and beyond what I thoght it would be and the more people the more money

we hope to not go over 20k....but who knows LOL...besides we never really sat down and went over it with my parents...maybe they will contribute

wow i am really proud of you ladies your budgets sound amazing!

FH and I are paying for the entire wedding ourselves and we are no where near rich. . .our hall in the middle of JANUARY is still going to cost over $20,000. . . i won't even talk about our total budget

I don't know how you ladies are doing it - but good luck and keep it up!!

PS - we are NOT going into debt for this wedding, we are paying everything in cash and will start at zero the day of the wedding - which is why we waited two years from when we were engaged. . . . its hard but it will be worth it!!!

well over budget in the end.. as another bride said as soon as i started seeing what i wanted in vendors i realized that budget was unrealistic. my hall is 75% of what i thought the original budget would be.
i am utterly thankful that both of our parents are contributing.

We started at 15,000. Then my FMIL just HAD to invite her 40 cousins and their spouses. Now we're closer to 25,000.

Good thing FILs will be paying for all of their extra guests.

At this point I'm not sure what my budget is going to be. If you guys are right and the hall x 2 is a realistic number, then I should be at $17k at the end of the day.

QUESTION - Do you guys include everything in your budget? ie., stamps, TY's, BP gifts, etc? Also, if your relatives are contributiong, do you still include those costs??

I'm including everything 'till the last penny.
