Just wondering what everyones budget is, and if anyone is going over? What is the one thing in your wedding plans that you wouldnt mind spending money on. My budget is $10,000 and so far Im doing alright...and I would def. spend more money on my photography

My FI and I are paying for our wedding. We have been saving a lot of money and trying to pay everything up front without charging it.
We do have a credit card JUST for wedding stuff, but we've only had to put our reception site deposit (500 bucks) on that. Everything else we've paid for it with our wedding savings.
Our budget started at $25,000 but with a couple additions, it's going to be just over $30,000.

our budget started at $40k and we're now at $60k Don't ask how we got to that number.. as I don't know (well I do) but it's crazy... our reception was $30k.... someone told me right before we started planning that whatever your cost is for the hall your entire wedding will be double. in my case that person was right
oh and we have been paying as we go.. no credit cards.. it's not worth the headache.

Ditto!
We're having approx. 300-325 guests at our wedding so when you times everything by that....the $$ goes up!

In our case both our parents and FH and I are contributing for different things. The hall took most of the budget its going to end up being around 20-23K depending on number of guests.
FH and I have been saving for awhile.

Re: Budget
my budget started at 15,000 then the hall ended up costing almost that much. I'm determined not to go above 20,000 though...whatever it may take.

I am not even saying what mine is up to, you would puke
I wish I stayed within a budget, but once I started going to vendors and seeing things I wanted, that was out the door real fast.

Re: Budget
Thank heavens for help from mommy! Thats all I can say. We originally had a 25K limit, but it's well over that now, considering bridal party gifts and so on. Never the less, it's all worth it, and we're making it work
