budget blues

Any suggestions for a reception site that can hold over 200 people and cost around $50/per person?

Stewart Manor CC is $59/pp for a saturday afternoon reception in April. It may be less for March.
It holds 220 people max.

What area are you looking in?
Maybe I can come up with a few places.
I would suggest a daytime or sunday wedding to keep costs down.

I think Huntington Townhouse might be in that price range.

Maybe coral house?
That was my first budget too, and many places laughed at me! You will need to do a winter wedding to get that pirce ANYWHERE..

I would also recommend checking out Stewart Manor Country Club. They are very nice and the prices are reasonable.

I am paying just over that for 200 minumum at the Huntington Townhouse, friday night in September.

if you do a winter wedding november - march on a friday night or sunday wedding you can find $50 pp
windows on the lake was $49 pp on a friday night in march
stewart manor cc too $50

also how many people are you having some places have pkge deals with all included like photo/video dj etc.

p.s. i went to 17 places before i chose my hall

Stuart Thomas Manor in Farmingdale also holds over 200 people... I believe their packages start at around $65 pp and include other things like flowers.

You can get Coral house for around 58 or so in the winter after that rates go up to 61 PP for friday and daytime Sat & Sunday..79-89 for nights. Best bet is to meet and ask.. you will find that some people can have their wedding the same place..same day even and pay two totally different prices.
