So originally I said '18k'. Then I said '20k' and my goal is to be under 25k now.

If I keep my nose to the grindstone... I can probably stay at around 22k and that's with everything.

Fingers crossed.

We thought we would be around 30K when we started planning but I think it's going to be more like 35K, not including the honeymoon, when everything is said and done. Everyday I think to myself, why didn't we just decide to elope and save all this money!

Haha I'm starting to get nervous and think the same!!!! Everyone that spends a crazy amount on their weddings always regret it! Ahhhhhhhh lol

I don't think I'll necessarily regret it when it's all said and done and I have the day of my dreams. I just think about everything else we could be doing with that money and think we're nuts for not doing all those other things!

We have to stay under 30K, as we are paying for pretty much the entire wedding. It started at 20K then I quickly realized that was near impossible on LI :(

We are about the same. I am trying to stay as under 30K or as close to it as I can

For those of you staying under 50k, how are you doing it?! I'm becoming disgusted at how much everything is costing, but you get to a point where there's no turning back. My parents are footing most of the bill, which sometimes I think it worse because it's someone else's hard earned money!

Best way to stay on budget is to limit the number of guests. We cut our list way down and are insisting no children. Only 80 invites going out, room only holds 140 so hoping a bunch say no. The only thing we 'overspent' on is photography. We both felt it was necessary to have a photog that we absolutely LOVE since the pics will last forever.
