Re: Burton's bridal
i ordered my dress from them, and am getting my BM dresses there too. I haven't had a problem at all with them. They've been extremely nice, even though i've come in 4 different times looking for BM dresses and called a million times. 2 of my friends got their dresses and alterations done there for their wedding and had no complaints.

My cousin got her dress there and had no complaints. She said the seamstress was excellent.

Re: Burton's bridal
There was a post yesterday about how the bride was so unhappy with the place she ordered her dress from and an incident about her bridesmaid dresses. I checked her vendors and her flower vendor was Burton's so I FMed her if she got her dress from the same place. It was Burton's. I ordered my dress from there and no many others have so I was concerned. So far it's the only bad review I've seen.

Re: Burton's bridal
I got my dress and BM dresses there and I did have a problem with 3 out of the 4 girls dresses with the second fitting but the seamsstress did exactly what she had to do and fixed them and I was very pleased with them and their business. I would DEFINATELY use them again and would reccommend them to anyone. The prices are great and you won't spent more then 150 on alterations in fact I paid NOTHING for my alterations because I didn't need a hem and I didn't have a bustle.
You girls have nothing to worry about.

Re: Burton's bridal
I have only heard good things about them. Two of my cousins got their dresses there (one was just last yr) and both dresses were beautiful! I just went there yesterday to look at dresses and they were so friendly and helpful! I really want to get my dress there, but the dress I really like is only made for one store.... so i don't know what to do :(The other store doesn't have as good of a reputation and i don't know anyone who got their dress altered there. :( :( I don't know what to do!

Try not to let every bad review drive you nuts. Different people have different wants and needs and what I might be dissatisfied with from one vendor might not be a big deal to the next girl. Unless the girl can give you concrete reasons why she was so unhappy, it's probably nothing to worry about.

Re: Burton's bridal
I have heard bad reviews about my bridal salon too, and have had nothing but a pleasant experience so far. Don't worry about the negatives - there is one about almost every vendor out there

Re: Burton's bridal
Thanks for the input. Yes, I usually do dismiss one or two bad reviews... there are people out there who are not clear in their wants or needs to their vendors and then blame them when it doesn't turn out how they planned. Also, none of us would like to admit to it but there has to be some bridezillas out there and maybe she was placing unrealistic demands on the staff. She also wasn't very clear as to the problem and I think had unrealistic expectations. They are a small shop. It's unrealistic that your fitting should be more than a half hour.
Thanks again for the input.
