Does anyone know Burtons policy with the $50 hold the date deposit. I was under the impression that the 50 was only to hold the date and had nothing to do with a contract. Well now we found another florist that we like a lot better and do not want to use Burtons. Has anyone else been in this situation? Please let me know. Thanks so much.

Re: Burtons Florist
Just call them - I'm sure since you are a year away you will be fine - I have found them to be very nice and accomodating. Good luck.

You will get your $50 back if Burtons books your spot. I booked Burtons a while back and HAD to change florists due to my reception site requirements. A few weeks after cancelling (and never expecting my $$ back) I got a check and a note that the date was booked by another bride.

Re: Burtons Florist
Well my problem with Burtons is solved. My FI called them today and they told us the worst thing that would happen is that we would lose the $50.00 deposit we left, but would not be responsible for anything else. They also told him that if they are able to book the date, we will get our money back.
