I can only speak for Burtons as I used them. I wrote about them in my review and there are pics of my flowers. Overall was happy with them- and they gave me expensive flowers for a very reasonable price. My review

Not to confuse you more but have you checked out verbena? Her prices actually came in better than burton's for me. I don't know about flower barn though, I never checked them out.

Are you able to pick your flowers at Burtons? Or do they just give you what's in season?

The lady i met w/ there told me you sign the contract first then pick out the flowers later. I didn't like that idea.

Re: Burtons or Flower Barn
I'm partial to Burton's because we used them and were beyond thrilled with them. I was able to pick whatever I wanted and it was always the same price.I think they tell you to sign now and pick flowers later because brides typically change their minds 9,000 times and since it's a base price (not based on flower selection) I think it's nice to have that extra time to really nail down what you want without the worry that it will be more $.
But that's just IMO, bottom line is I would highly reccomend them.

FLOWER BARN all the way. I have never felt more comfortable or confident with a vendor. I have gotten phenomenal service and booked them the day after I met with them. And the biggest perk - they really care about your flowers. They actually thought my CP could look better than what they originally showed me (which is what I wanted) and I went back the next day and THEY were sooooooooo right.I couldn't have made a better choice!

I would highly recommend Burton's. It's who I am going with (not even considering anyone else), my sis and my best friend both used them and they were phenomenal. They will give you any flower you wish as long as it's in-season, and the guys are so nice (I've tagged along on all Burton's appts!).
Totally reliable day of as well.

Re: Burtons or Flower Barn
When I met with Burtons, they said it was any flower in season during my month. Other florists would discuss actual flowers, and I am a little nervous with the 'any flower in season' because not a lot is in season in January

i booked burtons. i went in with the idea of having calla lillies and orchids and they told me no problem. i think these days pretty much everything is in season all the time... all florists ship in flowers from everywhere. it's not like they're picking them in their backyard!!
also - for my cp's i wanted branches and other florists were charging an arm and a leg for them. burton's basically set up a cp with branches in front of me when i was just getting a quote. it was exactly what i envisioned and there was no extra charge for branches!!

Re: Burtons or Flower Barn
I booked with Burtons because I really wanted orchids and the other places I met with told me it was way out of my budget. Bobbi from Burtons told me that if I wanted to, I could use all orchids in everything I'm getting and it would still be the same price. My sister used them for her wedding last year and her stuff came out better than the pics she gave them so I felt very good about booking with them. Also, they only take a $50 deposit, so if you book and really decide you want to go with someone else, it's not like you're losing hundreds of dollars.Welcome New Vendors
