being that Im 86 days out I figured I should put a little thought into this lol........I dont want to take away from the detail but I also dont want it all piled up on my booty which my dress actually makes me look like I have lol

Re: Bustles
your best bet would be to just go to the shop and try different thgns and see what looks best

Re: Bustles
i think a french bustle would look nice. my dress is very detailed in the back, and the french looked fantastic. and with the french, you're butt won't be covered up.

Re: Bustles
with all the pretty detail, I would say do a french bustle, my friend had a long train and did two layers for the bustle. Definintely talk to a seamstress, she'll know handsdown what would look the best.

no prob of course it would vary based on how high up they do it and the skirt....basically it just means it's like tucked up under instead of over...

Re: Bustles
back in the day, they used to just have something you hooked onto your arm (like string or whatever) and kept it up that way; that's what my mom had. sorry i don't know what it's called
your train is looong though but i hear you - i didn't want a train at all but mine's short so it just needs a little bustle

The downside is that you can't really dance b/c your dress will get stepped on...by you and others! hehe....I think I have heard maybe some people (very few) have their train like attached to their wrist, but I really don't know about this......maybe you are just having a hard time with the idea of it b/c you can't actually see with your dress, but the seamstress will be able to show you something you like?
