Has anyone done this or been to a wedding where it was done? I really like the idea there is an awesome indian legend that goes along with it... but i worried that the butterflies wont be alive when we release them.
did them at my brother's wedding. It was nice and the guests loved it. the butterflies were alive and she recieved them fed ex.
I have been to weddings where it went fine but others where the butterflies were dead. ITs a risk, But when it works its beautiful
a friend of mine did it , and ALL the butterflies were dead..not one was alive! but supposivley you are suppose to freeze them or something? and then let them defrost? and i dont think they did it right....
make sure you will be getting butterflies that are native to the area. You don't want to introduce non-native animals to the ecosystem.
