Is anyone planning on buying a home before the wedding and worried about having enough $$$ for all the wedding stuff???
We may be getting a house & my whole financial savings plan for the wedding won't really work!!
Anyone else in this situation??

Yes... BUT we had to postpone our wedding 1 year so that has helped a bit with saving... BUT it sitll wont be enough for a house so we are looking into a co-op or condo OR if my sis the realotor gets a house that is 'just right' we may ask our parents to help us. It is really hard trying to do both and GOd bless you girls who can do both.

We bought a house almost 2 years ago and it's definitely stressful trying to save for the wedding and pay the mortgage, the bills, etc. We are lucky that we didn't have to fix up anything in the house at all, just paint, but it's the little things that you want to change (counter tops, build a deck, get a shed, a new fence, etc.) that are just expenses that can be avoided right now but it's so annoying! But that's what helps me with wedding planning and keeping me under control. I think...what's more important, having a 12 piece band or getting new washer/dryer? Needless to say we booked a DJ.
