Caffe on the Green

Caffe on the Green

I've eaten there before and I know the food is good, but I've never been to a wedding there, nor know anyone who has. We're having 130-150 people, for a Friday in Sept 05. Does anyone know what their prices are or minimum ppl? (You can FM me if easier) Can you have the cocktail hour outside? What if it rains? Is it worth looking at? Can you tell that there are a bunch of people downstairs eating at the restraunt? I heard that the room setup is a little strange and some tables are hidden because of it. We were all set to book a place after our tastings this coming weekend, then my FI said that maybe we should check Caffe out. Does anyone know if the centerpieces or cake are included in the price? Sorry for the long post. Thanks for any help you have

Re: Caffe on the Green

Hi: I went to see Caffee on the Green. Can't remember exactly how much it was per person, but it was like 93 pp, plus tax and tip for a Saturday night possibly in september, and I think it was a pretty big menu and open bar. And the centerpieces were not included in my price. It was very pretty out side, but the room was a little weird. I think the dance floor might be too small, and they have like 2 rooms separated with a sliding door or something. Can't remmber too well, but i think there was only 1 entrance to the 'main' room and it was kinda through the restaurant. The other thing was that the room is on the second floor and there was no elevator, the stairs were kinda narrow. We definitely needed a wheelchair accessible place. Good luck!

Don't know anything about the prices...but I used to live in that big apartment building right behind Caffe on the Green...and I used to see wedding going on all the time. I saw many cocktail hours going on outside. I lived there for 5 years...
