i was watching amazing wedding cakes and i loooove what they do. so this got me thinking... how much do u girls think a grooms cake would be from them?? i checked their website and they dont have any estimate prices i guess because they're all different depending on what u want and order. has anybody on LIW gotten a cake from them? and how much did it run u if u dont mind sharing.......

Per their site wedding cakes start at $9/slice with a $500 minimum. Occasion cakes with more than 10 slices start at 350.
What kind of grooms cake are you looking to get?

Ooops! Guess I missed that on their website. But I wanted to get him a grooms cake with the theme or the ny yankees. I know that he would definitly love it!! I'm definitly gonna go n tlk to them when its a little closer to the rehearsal dinner

I want to get the FI a sports theme grooms cake as well of his beloved NFL team! I've gotten a lot of quotes from various bakers in Manhattan for a real size 3D sculpted NFL Helmet. I would guessimate that if their occasion cakes start at 350 you can probably expect to pay anywhere 500+. Just a guess because they are on the higher end. And doesn't hurt to email them now just to get a price. The best thing to do is to email them a pic of what you want.
FYI the quotes I've gotten for the helmet range from 250-500 from various bakers.

I got a 3-d yankees jersey from Audreys in Sayville to feed 30 people for $90!!! And they have been a pleasure to work with.

I know... under normal circumstances i would agree and would NEVER spend that much on a CAKE. however, I am getting basically everything i want for the wedding, so i want to do somethingnice for him as well
