Re: cake question...what would you do?

Wow!! We are really sorry to hear about this. You told them how many guests were going to be at the wedding. Go to the Bakery and speak with them. That is not wedding business like. Could you please FM me the bakery because our wedding cake is also included in our wedding package. Thank you so much.

oh no i would definately call. i'm glad you didn't let it ruin your wedding day, but now that the festivities of the day is over i would call & reason with them for some money back...and if all else fails see them in court.

OK, now I see!!!! WOW that is a huge difference, I would definitely complain, maybe if they would have got the shape right or the flowers even close, but they were way off!!!!!!!

Where did you get your cake from???
Don't pay for that!! I would be sooooooooo pissed! Did you give a pic of what you wanted? I would stop payment or whatever you have to do.

we already paid for it because the cake was included in the rh package.....i just got back from the honeymoon so I haven't been back to LI yet to complain (we live in florida now), I'll let everyone know what they say when I do
and yes they had a 5x7 pic of the cake, and one emailed to them
total disappointment

I would definitely call them and complain, the RH or the bakery either way...its close but seriously off by alot.

If it makes you feel the slightest bit better my cake was supplied by my RH and looked like an 8 year old made it, it was lop-sided and the hearts drawn on it my nephew could have done them better

when you click on the first one than look to your left where the invites are and scroll down and you'll see the round cake, ok.....and yea, I would say you were very much so cheated.....the bakery I am using as already showed me the flowers and leaves that she is using on my cake so that she knew I approved them.....just some fyi....sorry

I think that I would be more upset that 40 of my guests did not receive wedding cake!!!!

If the RH was aware of what the cake was supposed to look like, they shouldd also take some responsibility.

When bakeries drop cakes off at the RH, someone has to approve and sign-off on it. Being that this something obviously not what you wanted, no one (M'D/Banquet Manager) should have never signed-off on it and accepted it.

I would probably call and show them the pictures of what you wanted and what you had and how you were short on cake... I would make it known you were not happy....
