Cake topper question.

To say that FH is head over heels for his cats is an understatement. He has joked that if we have kids, it would be hard for him to love them as much as the cats (lol).

A cake topper is one of the things that has ranged as really low on my importance scale. I saw, however, this adorable cake topper on Etsy (addicted!) that we can get customized to look like our cats. Is this silly, or should we just keep it simple? I thought it might make FH happy to see our little family by the cake.

What about a grooms cake with the cats? I like elegant and sophisticated cakes ... But thats just me :)

I was thinking more to put in front of the cake? Since they appear to be clay, I'm not sure about putting them on top.

It's so cute! I like the ones with the bride and groom and the pets together, though.. that's what we're going to do.

I have had this exact etsy listing favorited for weeks! I love them. They are adorable and I am trying to justify it by saying that I will be able to keep them after.
