If you didn't get your cake from your hall, where did you get it? We're most likely going to get our cake from an outside vendor, so any recommendations for beautiful, yummy, not too expensive cakes will be greatly appreciated.

We are getting ours through the hall, but I would recommend our baker to anyone. We are using the Rolling Pin..I believe they are located in Rocky Point/Mt. Sinai area. We've tried 3 of their cakes at weddings and they are SO YUMMY!!!

We got our cake from Audreys. It was a three layer cheesecake with two layers of raspberry filling.

We BOTH LOVE Napoleans so we are going to have a GIANT NAPOLEAN WEDDING CAKE from alpine bakery in smithtown.

I second the Rolling Pin. Rolling Pin Their cakes are amazing. We've tasted them at showcases and at weddings and have practically licked our plates clean every time.

I highly recommend king kullans! Both times I've order cakes from them, both times I've been VERY happy! The first time was my FH birthday. I had a three layers of brownies with lots of chocolate. They did it prefect. The second time was two days ago for my handfasting which is a pre wedding ceremony. They made my cake shaped like a book. Decorated in autumn leaves and personal effects. The pages of the book were out perfect and the coloring of the pages were just what I wanted. The cake was chocolate with chocolate pudding and mousse. It was delious! They are making my wedding cake which will be shapped like a castle and be almond canolli. My wedding cake for almond canollie for a 100 people shaped like a castle will be $200. The other two cakes for like 20 people were less than $40! Their prices are VERY reasonable!

It kills me that you couldn't get a picture of that cake!

We got ours from Cheryl Kleinman in Brooklyn. She was really awesome - she made us free sample cakes with the flavors we were considering. Real mini cakes! Her prices vary and can get pretty expensive, but I'm sure you could call and find out if she can work with your budget. The cakes she gave us in the sample were so yummy and the 'real' cake was even better!!

The cake King Kullans is making for $200. They saw the picture andthis is what they quote me. And the book cake is a smaller version of the cake King kullans made me for only $38. Only it had a different design and I didn't want the extra page.
