calligrapher?

my mom wants me to look into pricing and names of someone to do the calligraphy on our invitations.. anyone have any recommendations or idas on how much it is going to cost?

We went through Lion In the Sun at their Park Slope store. They also have a store in Huntington. I believe the calligrapher was out on Long Island. She did beautiful work. 120 invitations and not one mistake. All in a beautiful style. I think it was around $2.50 an envelope.

I just met with a couple of people.. I am using a friend of a friend who does both hand and computer.. The computer looks the same as hand and you can also match the font that is on your invites.

I don't have exact pricing in front of me- and I got a little friends and family discount-- but, for 150 invites- it would be anywhere from 400 to 600 depending on using hand or computer. I do not have inner envelopes though.. I think placecards are like 1.50 a piece.
