Calligraphy (can I learn it?)

Ok, I have 2 years till my wedding date. I am thinking of learning to do calligraphy as a project. Does anyone know calligraphy? Is this enough time to learn? Any recommendations on books/web sites/adult ed classes that teach it?

I do not naturally have good handwriting, but I think if I applied myself I could do it, and it would be a special touch on my invites.
What do you think?

Wow, I was thinking of taking an adult education class. but I have NO idea of how to find the adult education classes in my area.. WHERE do I look??? I am so clueless!!!
