My building has two separate addresses - one for 55th street entrance and one for the 56th street entrance - I've been here 3 years and I just found that out.

That's interesting. But that's two different streets though, EXACTLY around the corner... my building like I said is on a corner with an entrance on the St. and one on the Avenue, I don't know if it would make sense to have two addresses.

That is true. The only way to really verify is to call the building and ask them (ask the management company that runs the building).
From the maps, it doesn't look like the addresses are even on the same block! But mapquest could be wrong ...

Reallybehind you have the same situation at Jan05bride... your entrances are completely around the corner from each other... maybe I'm the confused one. My entrances are perpendicular not parallel as your entrances are...

What I'm saying is that two girls said their building have two entrances, one COMPLETELY around the corner from the other, so that makes sense for different addresses.
My building (like the one your client is mentioning) has entrance on the St. and the Avenue. LOL, forget it, I'm confusing myself!
Okay, my building is on 44th & 6th, but we use the 6th Ave. address. There is no address for 44th St. Had we had an entrance on 45th St. instead of 6th Avenue, we'd probably have a different address for that.
I don't know about your building...but I have definitely heard of that...i went on an interview once and they told me both addresses...but said that one was better than the other...

It is possible but, 47 West 34th sounds odd. If it is on Bway it should be 100-200 I would think. I lived between 6th and 7th and my # was 150. 47 sounds like it would be between 5th and 6th.

My building is on 7th Ave, between 51st/52nd. but there are entrances at least 4 different ways! WHen clients come they have no clue which entrance to use.
However, the address is the same, 787 Seventh Ave. This might be different for other buildings, though...

My building has 3 different addresses!! One for each side there is an entrance. Its very confusing to give directions to b/c i never remember the other entrances.
Ive worked in other buildings that have the same thing...2 or more.
