I was just wondering where all you 9/03 brides were at with your vendors & things. EVERYONE keeps telling me that I am soooooo ahead of myself, but I feel like I'm lagging, and that not everything is going to be done by the time the wedding comes around......

Hi Marisa- I can't find a picture of the dress but this is the description. It sounds tacky but this is truly a dress you have to see on a person not just describe it. Description: Satin, Net, Crystal Beading…court neckline with crystal trim…princess line gown of crystal beaded net over satin…back bodice features satin covered buttons to hem…short sheer crystal beaded net sleeve…cathedral train…built-in crinoline
Thrilled- I was willing to postpone my HM a MONTH to get a better deal and weather. if you postpone it one week and your FH is really adamant about it I say wait and gather yourselves after the wedding and then HM one week later.

Patty – Happy to hear you booked the honeymoon. Sounds like a great trip. Spain is supposed to be absolutely beautiful.
Thrilled – I say convince the hubby to leave the next day. I am not a big fan of leaving right away (we plan on leaving Monday-but I can’t decide until we start the honeymoon planning – really need to get on it) but I think that waiting a week is a bit much. Would that mean going back to work for the week and then leaving? St. Lucia is one of the places we were actually thinking of. Can you give some details on what deal, hotels etc? Thanks much.
Marissa – I am looking at Bill Levkoff separates for my bridesmaids as well. What style number are yours or do you have a picture?

We are leaving for Hawaii on Monday. RIght now we are looking forward to the HM so much I don't know if we could wait a whole week after the wedding to go.

I am on FI to book the wedding... I want him and I to book that and I also want to finalize the menu... A lot of people are like you can do that later on but here is the thing... My best friend is getting engaged very soon (I can't say when because she is a lurker on these boards although I know) and I think (hope) she is going to ask me to play a very important role in her wedding.... I want to be able to give her the deserving time and enjoy her planning as she has enjoyed mine.... I don't want to be so wrapped up in my own plans when she gets engaged.... I want to be pretty much done with much of my planning....

Hi Marisa- I have been sooooooooooo busy with work (it's month end) and everything else. I have real estate appt's at night and trying to fit in dress appt's is keeping me quite busy. I'm still here but REALLY wnat this thread back on the BHB boeard. I forget to come here sometimes. Lisa Vanished!!!! I hope she's O.K. Danirn comes on but doesn't post here as much.

Hey Marissa - I posted right before you did. Work has been crazy so not much time to get on here. We still have so much weddign stuff to do but right now we are focused on moving, selling an apartment and working. There aren't enough hours in the day. And yes, they need to move this thread back to BHB.

Curly- I was thinking the same thing.... Do you get the feeling we are being a little ignored? I hate to be witchy about it, but I would love it if they moved the board... I feel like LIW thought we wanted it in an all O3 board... This is so sad...

This is terrible. I am not catty at all and don't like to be involved in drama but Liweddings DID say they'd give us a board. I could even look for the thread where they stated it. I can resepct their business point of view though. They did what they felt would be the correct thing to do. That being said, this thread ****s now, hahahahaha. I will FM them to move it back to BHB (and then I'll really look like a b**ch ). I mean well

We still have a lot to do: all of us have to get shoes, veils, and tiaras, rant about pre-cana, get our cake, go through hair and make-up trials together, hire our calligrapher and get our invitations.... I hope people are not giving up on this thread... I find it very soothing and helpful... It has calmed my fears when I think I am behind in my planning and made me nuts to push ahead when I truly am behind... I hope everyone is just busy.... I also hoped like all else it gets moved...

Hello everyone I haven't been ignoring my girls-I've just honestly been so busy between work, funerals, and being sick Nothing really new right now on my plans. I am going tuesday to show my bm's the dress I like-I am keeping my fingers crossed that it looks good on all of them! We started PreCana last Saturday-we had to do the FOCUS questionaire-a lot of questions about how well you know you're significant other-we lied and told them we didn't live together to avoid too much drama.

I just want to vent to my Sept girls for a little... Does it seem to you occasionally that some people on these boards seem to make the environment a little hostile? I just seems like there is a certain person who starts fights with everyone... I haven't fought with people like this since grade school, but my G-d. Sometimes I log on and I feel like I am Kindergarten with this girl!!! Just had to share...

Some people are definitely hostile. I try not to read their posts. Anyway on to wedding updates. This weekend I am going to VA to visit one of my bridesmaids but when I get back I am really getting my act together planning wise. Next week we are meeting with 2 videographers, one florist and checking out hotels. I want to everything major done by the end of February. It is so hard because FI has two jobs so it is hard to work around his schedule.
