Where is the GTG on 7/18?

My overseas invites went out 2 weeks ago and the rest are going out next week.

We went to do our menu last night!

My dress is in and I go for my first fitting on Tuesday!

Hi girls-

Jodi - I am so jealous that your invitations are ready to go...thats great! I still have to print direction cards and address them - UGH!

I had my tasting at Atlantica last night and let me tell you it made me soooo excited for the wedding! The food was delicious and they were SO accomodating about every single request I made.

I posted some e-pics and hair/make-up trial pics - all in all a very busy weekend but it all seems to be coming together.

September will be here before we know it!

Jen - I saw your pictures and they came out great!

I didn't do anything for the wedding last weekend. I have to get shoes - maybe next week. I have beading on the bottom of my dress - should I get open or closed toe shoes? I normally like open better, but someone suggested that closed toe would look better b/c of the beading on the bottom of the dress. What do you think?

I searched and searched for the perfect shoes and to be honest, I don't think it makes a bit of difference - no one will see your shoes!

We were at a wedding last weekend and I was SUPER attentive to all the details and I have ZERO recollection about the brides shoes...although I do have a dozen photos of her hair, centerpieces, placecards etc.

Get whichever you are more comfortable in.

Curly – I love your shoes and centerpiece. You are moving right along.

I hope to pick my invitations this week and get them ready to be mailed by mid July. I am going shoe shopping on Thursday and hopefully going to see the florist on Friday.

I had my shower on Saturday – it was great. Everyone was so generous and our registry was pretty much cleaned out. I have no idea what I am going to do with all the stuff but little by little I will get it all put away. Once I get pictures I will post.

I won't be able to make the GTG - have a margarita for me!

So many people unable to attend the GTG. Everyone is getting so together with everything! My invites go out tomorrow!!! I'm so excited!! If anyone finds any good shoe stores let me know - can't find any!!!

jc- I bought my shoes at Bridal Shoe Boutique in Westbury on Old Country Rd. next to DSW warehouse. Hope that help.

If only my dress was in! I really can't wait to see the dress in my actual size and start the fittings. I figure I won't stress about it till the beginning of next month.

You girls better post some pics of your fittings -I'm so excited to you in your dresses!

I have to schedule my fittings soon. I'm just waiting to find shoes then I can plan the fittings. I bought my dress by my FIL's house in PA so I have to plan a trip there. I have a feeling that when I do, that will be when they throw me my PA shower.

Thanks for the advice on the shoes. I guess I'll just see what I can find and pick what I like better.

I scheduled my first fitting for 7/16 - but I think I'm going to push it off until the following week. I still have to get shoes and want to head over to Mary's corsetierres. As soon as that's done I'll be set

Lisa, I am so sorry to hear about your job That is such a crappy thing to happen, I hope you are ok

I had my shower at FMILs house in Syrcuse this weekend. I was not able to come on all day due to my horrible work day today, but the shower was gerat and I will try and post pics tomorrow. I had a great time, although it took some time to get used to being the total center of attention We got some nice presents too
