Is anyone else getting a little scared? Time is flying now! I feel like I finaly get what all the girls mean! My heart sort of races ever so often knowing I have under three months left and am only 88 days away. That is like nothing. This weekend was a total accomplishment. I got the proof for my programs and will submit corrections tomorrow. I also will get my finished ketubah (marriage contract) and yarmulkes by the end of the week. I still need to speak to the florist and start that big project, order the hotel baskets, get cameras, do fittings and get my tiara. Next week, I will send out my invites as I did not do STD's and have some out of towners. Ahhhh!!! It's going too fast.

Hi Girls! I'm waiting for my shoes to arrive and I have to get my butt over to Mary's Corestierres. (Things have just been so busy...I have a friend's wedding this weekend and I'm the MOH.) After I get to Mary's, I'll be able to schedule a fitting.
My FH and I need to get our butts moving on the invitations. We're hoping to have them out early next week.
And of course I've been doing plenty of clothes shopping for the honeymoon.

FI and I stuffed/sealed/stamped envelopes until midnight last night and they're off in the mail today!! It really is hitting me also Marisa - we're getting married in 72 days - we should be closing on our house in 2 weeks - when did all this happen??? When did we grow up??? It's going to be here before we know it. It's 100 different feelings inside.

3 MONTHS TO GO
Now it's down to those little details that count. Work on choosing your wedding bands and decide on what kind of favors you'd like to give to thank your guests. It's almost time to send out those invitations! Here's what else you need to be thinking about this month:
TO-DOs
Choose attendant accessories. Give the groomsmen the information they need to buy/reserve their attire. Shop for and purchase wedding bands. Make sure that bridesmaids have their dresses and accessories. Make or buy favors. Look into passport and other special travel requirements if you are going abroad on your honeymoon. Pick up your invitations. Start addressing invitations or send them out to calligrapher. Buy any special lingerie to wear under your dress. Start shopping for your accessories like veil and shoes.

I am starting to get really nervous, I only have 67 days to go And I am going into my busy season at work, so I wont have a lot of time to do wedding stuff here. I just keep reminding myself how much I have done, and that there is still plenty of time to get the little details done. I cannot wait for my first fitting next week
Of course, this week there have been some crazy bumps in the road. We are getting married in a church, and I did not know that we needed new copies of our baptisimal certificates (I thought we needed copies), so I am running around trying to get those.
And, my wonderful FH brought up having his nieces as flowergirls witn my FSIL, so now I may have 2 FGs two months before the wedding. I have no idea how to handle that, as they live in Buffalo and I would not even see the dresses until the wedding Ugh, too much stress. If you could have seen my face when FH and FSIL starting talking about having her kids in the wedding, I could have strangled him. He was all, whats the big deal, put them in dresses and thats it! If he only knew....must remember to breathe

hmichick - you are so funny! I would have killed him too though! Maybe you can do an ivory or white dress for them and then you don't have stress about the right 'shade' of another color!
We are dealing with a similar situation in that my fi's not yet 3-yr old nephew may be in the wedding now too. I hope to God his parents decide he's too young and too much of a hassle for them (no kids at the recpetion). Evil I know, but I can't help it.
As for time flying (it IS) - I was starting to get really nervous but then Sunday night we had our tasting at Atlantica and it completely calmed my nerves. The food was delicious, they staff was SO attentive and literally every request I had they were two steps ahead of me. I think thats the only reason I'm feelig so sane this week. Because I have 80 DAYS!!! The anticipation ( and weather concerns) are killing me!

hi girlies! yes, it's true - miss sociable won't be able to make it to the GTG - considering that the funds are soooo low now, it's jst not possible!
good news though... we went and dropped off more cash @ JT (will it ever end ) went to the bakery and picked our wedding cake - delish cakes there! and my FPIL's bought us our washer and dryer which will be delivered this Sunday! YAY!!!!!!!!!

Yes, I am back from the dead! With planning a wedding and working full time, how do you gals still find the time to come on here? I am like, crazed all the time. My gown came in. First fitting, July 9th. Two weeks to lose so much weight. I am getting my tiara on Thursday- ordering it. Should take two months to come in so I will have it at the end of August. Also, I am ordering my programs tomorrow. Saw the proofs today and they are awesome!

Hi Sept. girls! I haven't posted on this thread in a long time, but I'm alive and well and busy like the rest of you! My invites are in, I'm hoping to pick them up tomorrow. We finally took our engagement pictures...3 months before the wedding! Fi's family wants to put an announcement in the papers in their community. I'm not really into that but I'll go along. He better get his butt in gear picking out tuxes. He hasn't even started yet! I still have to figure out what I'm wearing on my head. I think I'll do more like a little headband or nice clip instead of a tiara. I also have to order favors, get shoes, undergarments, gifts for bridal party, wedding rings, caketopper and take care of lots of little details. Fi let slip that my shower is July 12! I'm one of the most laid-back people you'll meet but now I'm down to the 3-month mark and just realized how much I still have to do!! Yikes!

glad to hear i'm not the only one stressing out! 80 days as of today, yikes! i feel like i have a ton of things to do and only like 3 weekends to do them in b/c i live out of state and have 4 other weddings this summer. i'm going to pick the cake next weekend (as well as attend two weddings, one in ny and one in wisconsin! that should be interesting) and pick up my veil so i'm ready for a hair trial.
i still have to help my bm's pick out shoes but their dresses aren't in yet and i want to see the exact color first. still have to do fittings, tasting at the hall, pick rd and brunch menus, make programs, talk to officiant (july 4) and a bunch of other little stuff.
i wish i could come to the gtg but i won't be home that weekend. eventually i'll hopefully move to ny and get to meet all you guys! fi has an interview in ny on july 9 so keep your fingers crossed for us that it goes well!

Does anyone else feel like they are spending money like its going out of style??? At least w. the big things, I had budgeted for them, but this 'little' stuff (paper for programs, guestbook, accesories) is killing me (and my wallet) Oh, well, what can you do, I am broke and must accept it. On a good note, I ordered my sign in platter, the heart shaped one. Love it, love it. Heres a pic:
But it will have a couple kissing on it instead of the bells. I am still thinking of having the poloroid guestbook too, I saw the izone cameras for $10 each. Do you think having both is overkill?
