I am away every weekend in July except for the 19th so thats when my first fitting is scheduled for. I already have my shoes but now I need a veil. And don't want to get it at the Wedding Salon b/c IMO a piece of tulle is not worth $600!
I did go 'visit' the dress during the winter though!
Where did you guys get your veils? I'm looking for a simple one layer to either my waist or the floor...

Oh yeah . . .Thanks for the love regarding the programs! I made them myself with cover paper, a rubber stamp that I had made, some silver embossing powder and a heat gun!

Invites are done! After being up till 2am last night! They will be mailed tommorow, now it is really starting to hit me. I was actually getting teary eyed during the stuffing Danielle- your situation is alot like mine! Our dates are a day apart and I also close in 2 weeks We are nuts

Regarding Veils, I HIGHLY recommend VEILSHOP.COM, I got my veil from there. I got a simple 2 layer fingertip length veil from there for $50. I wanted just a sheer veil with no edging to not distract from my Vera Wang gown (which I love and also got at a deep discount!), I got the 2 layer b/c I'm going to wear the blusher down the aisle. Anyway, I got my veil within 2 weeks and they have a RETURN policy, yuo can return it within 7 days of receipt!!! so you really can't loose, Good luck and let me know if you have any questions!
Also, I'm assembling my invites this weekend, but not mailing them out until middle of July, for my 9/21 wedding, does that timing sound right, or should I mail them out as soon as I finish them next week?

I just wanted to let you all know that I was at AC MOORE tonight and they sell your basic veil with comb for 9.99! I wish I knew before I spent $50 at veilshop.com!
OK, I need some calming infulence- I am getting married two months from TODAY GAH! So much to do, very little time. I sent out my invites and guests started to receive them! It was crazy. We hand canceled on Saturday. It was a little early probably, but I was like- we did not send out std's so our out of towners need information to make the wedding. So... they are out! It feels great!
