CALLING ALL 9/03 BRIDES!!!

Just want to say that I cannot believe when people ask me 'when's the wedding again?' I now have to say 'in TWO MONTHS'!!!!

Technically its a little more than two months but officially September is two months after July!!! Where did the time go? I better get my butt in gear.

It's really getting down to the wire now. I am mailing my invites on Saturday or Monday - as soon as I get them stuffed. And I have my tasting tomorrow and we are picking out the cake on Sunday. I am not having my 1st fitting until Aug 5 since my wedding is at the end of the month.
I still have to find Shoes and jewelry.

Well let's all keep working on the little details!

I had my first fitting and LOVED my dress, posted a pic but had to take it down as FH is too nosey for his own good I have my hair and makeup trial w. Jennifer from Fairytale on Thursday.

I also have a mysterious 'party' that I was invited to on Sunday....I am suspicious that it is my shower FH wont tell me anything, he keeps telling ME not to be nosey!

We are working on choosing our readings for the ceremony, and the music for the reception. Most of the big stuff is done, its mostly little stuff now. I STILL have no idea what to get BMs. Anyone have any thoughts? I have to keep it to a reasonable budget as I have 6 girls. Hope you all are doing well, everyone getting responses back?

I saw you fitting pic Hmi - You looked beautiful!!! My 1st is on the 22nd... can't wait!! How exciting about you 'party'!!! I'm eagerly anticipating EVERY weekend coming up! Hope mine is in the works I too am in the midst of readings and all that jazz... 112 invites went out on Tuesday, 6/24 and so far I've gotten back 32! 4 out of those were no's . I am doing massages for my BM's. She's going to come to my house the day before, I'll have some food and drinks and all the girls together and we'll each get a massage. I have 5 girls and she's charging me 45.00 for each of them

Congrats girls on getting so much done. I finally booked the honeymoon and the invites should arive next week. I can't believe its all just 2 months away. Scary!!!

No HM booked yet for me....

I am so overwhelmed...things are coming along slowly but surely, however, I am stuck all day at a temp job where I do nothing all day (don't even know why I am here) and then after work I run around trying to get things done.

Radiostar, those are beautiful! What are you naming the tables after? My FH is a HUGE Red Sox baseball fan, so I am thinking of surprising him with some kind of baseball table theme. Dont know if I can come up with 15 baseball table names though!

Awwwww Curly! Thanks! But PLEASE believe me when I tell you that I am just as talented as a big wart. TALENT-LESS is more like it. But have you ever been online looking as various things and you just say to yourself,

Well, that happens to me quite often. The end results are quite surprising! You never know what you can do unless you try!

HMICHICK!!! I stole the table names from one of these threads! I have several names like, LOVE, FRIENDSHIP, PATIENCE, etc. And of course you can come up with baseball table names!!!! Just plug the word baseball into your search engine and see what you can come up with!

Sports Fields

I attended a wedding where the groom and his father and father in law were huge sports fans. The bride and women of the wedding party agreed to their idea to have the tables to be named after professional athletic parks and fields instead of numbers ( i.e. Soldier Field, RCA Dome, Yankee Stadium, Staple Center, and such). This was a great icebreaker for people who did or didn't know or get the table names.

Radio, I like it girl! My wedding is going to be so formal, I think it might be fun to have a little bit of playfulness in the table names. Maybe I will get pics of the stadiums and put them on the other side of the table numbers

Okay girls! Here is what has been accomplished: the wedding programs and napkins arrived today- they are gorgeous and done, thank G-d. Also, the yarmulkes and ketubah are in- picking them up Sunday. Had my first fitting on Wednesday (Awesome!!!) and took e pics on Thursday (not a little late or anything!!). Can't believe that it is two months!!!

Here is what I want to work on before the end of the month:
- FI tuxedos and groomsmen tuxedos
- Hotel Baskets (Work in Progress)
- Confirm Transportation for us and guests
- possibly engrave wedding ring
-July 19th- meeting with florist at venue
- Dance lesson beginning tomorrow

If I could get all this done before August First, I would be soooo psyched!!!

sounds like everyone's still on track! i like that table name idea. fi and i are still trying to come up with a theme for ours. he doesn't like the numbers b/c he feels it 'ranks' people. i thought that was kind of funny.

anyway, mom says she sent my invites on saturday so i'm happy about that. i wish i could have done it myself, but i won't be home for another two weeks and couldn't wait that long. oh well.

i had my first fitting and met with the priest over 4th of july. both went well. we're happy we don't have to meet with the priest again (b/c we're out of state, not b/c we don't like her).

bm dresses came in from netbride and they're perfect! next up shoe shopping for bm's, hair trial, picking out cake.

HI everyone! Haven't posted on this thread in a while!
I had my shower yesterday! It was sooooooooo great. My MOH's did a fabulous job. It was held under a tent at in my friends beautiful backyard! We got soo much stuff too. Iam sooo happy!

Plans are coming along...we finished paying off our honey moon this weekend and we are picking up our rings this weekend! I love DIAMONDS!!! I had my 1st fitting in June and the next one is in August- I love my dress so much!
Other than that I still have to do my programs and favors and ummmmm....I think that's it for now...

Hi - I'm so excited - I mailed out my invitations on Saturday and so many people received them today. Now comes the little details - flower arrangements, gifts for the wedding party and uggg seating arrangements. I can't wait!!!

We ordered the tuxes tonight and Mom bought her gown this weekend. 2 more things checked off
