CALLING ALL 9/03 BRIDES!!!

Hey girls!

Here's my update:
-got my shoes, undergarment and tiara
-tried on my gown and going for my 1st fitting next week
-found a place for the RD, hopefully booking it tomorrow. (105 Harbor in Cold Spring Harbor )
-invites went out last week and we've been receiving responses (all YES so far)
-started designing programs and planning menu
-wedding bands are ordered, just need to pick -them up

Hmmm...that's all that I can think of for now.

We also sent ours out and have about 80 pp coming so far. Sure we will get some more.

Started dance lessons. Going again tomorrow.

Meeting with Florist at venue Saturday.

TJ needs to get groomsmen attire and his own tuxedos.

In August, finalize all the vendors....

OK,7 days left until my rsvp date and out of 118 invites sent I have back 52. That's not too good is it?? My first fitting is on Tuesday, bought my undergarments yesterday and have my shoes on order (but I know the heel size so I should be ok for the fitting) My sis-in-law made me my pew bows, finalizing the florist next week - I THINK I'm in pretty good shape. Tux's are done - My mom's dress is in - favors are ordered- have to finish up the rice bags, working with Laura on my progrms and we've moved cards (she is SUCH a lifesaver!!) And I think that's it!! Now all I have to do is close on my house which is turning into such a nightmare!!! and we're set. 49 days!! How's everyone else doing?

I am actually in good shape.

I am about to start working on programs, all of my accessories are purchased. Honeymoon is paid off in full- I am very happy!!!!

Hi girls, sounds like we are all moving along with planning I am going to see our centerpiece sample at florist this weekend, booked Jennifer from Fairytale for makeup and hair, and am meeting w. the hall on 8/6 to set the menu. Our response date is 7/28, so far we have 75 yes and 24 no, so responses are coming in! Mom has her dress fitting next week, the BMs and I have had our first fittings as well.

Whew! That looks good when written out, makes me feel better that I have a lot done. I keep feeling like I should be doing something but I think I am pretty well on track.

I still need to find BM gifts (ugh, the eternal saga). Macys is having a big sale this weekend, so hopefully I can find something there.

My showers are over, I am kinda sad. I want more parties I can only imagine what I will be like when the wedding is over

JCNDD....RE: Rsvps.....I'm in the same boat as you. My deadline is next Friday and I have about 100 back out of 180. I doubt it very seriously if there will be a rush of responses at the last minute. People just don't care. Inconsiderate is more like it. I practically begged people to help this poor long distance bride out and STILL I expect a large amount of missing responses.

I know what you mean K - so far I have 70 back out of 115. There's alot of family AND friends that haven't responded. The envelope already has a stamp on it... stick the thing in the mailbox already!!! Jeesh....
Had my first fitting last night It was so wonderful!!! The dress looked great, I felt great... CAN'T WAIT for it to be here!!!!

I have the same invite list problem- the response date is Monday, and we have about 104 responses out of 200 Including some missing from my bridal party!! I love when I see prospective guests, and say we need your response, and people tell me- 'Mark me down as yes, I am coming'. I mean, you cannot check yes and send back the card???? Its enough to make you crazy
