Hello my ladies! I'm back! Haven't spoken to your guys in something like two months but I am SOOO happy to be home! Thanks for starting this thread. I went to the other one and was like, oh my God, IT is dead!!! Found this one today. Looks like I missed a lot! Congrats to all of you on planning!

So I have a story. Last night, I flipped out on my FI. I had my very first wedding nervous breakdown and broke down bawling the car! We stayed in the car with me hysterical for like 30 minutes and I was inconsolable. I was so furious because I have done all the planning- my parents, his parents, and him have done nothing!! I'M totally overwhelmed and have no help! In December, his parents offered to get the cake for the wedding and I have since reminded my FI to get on them to do that sokmething like once a day... His mother does nothing during the day, doesn't work, so I figured she could do some research and help out! Plus, they volunteered!!! While I was in Chicago, I was promised that this would be done! FI last week gives me the good news that they saw one place and picked out two pictures that I can decide between. Then I call last night just to confirm that we are coming over and she is like, I am waiting to get a book of pictures on the cakes! Haven't ordered it yet!!!! So now I am really ticked off! How hard could this be? Why don't we have the book yet? Are the cakes buttercream or fondant? Have you scheduled us for a tasting? How many other weddings on that day!!! Is this so F-ING HARD???!!! I'm doing everything!!!!!!!! For christs sake! Is there one person I can ask someone to do something one and It gets done! Four months and nothing has been done!!!

We did order the invitations yesterday so we are moving right along on that! I think that this Sunday we have a meeting with the catering hall to finalize the menu. Have any of you gotten your headpiece or veil yet?

I'm so happy you are back. Take a deep breath and try not to let things affect you so much (I know easier said than done). I think we have all felt like that at one point or another. It's very hard but in the end it will all come together. You are allowed your breakdowns just make sure to gather up again. You will have the most beautiful wedding ever so don't even worry about it Rant anytime

Lizlen2003 just called me. Her cousin was killed in a car accident last night by a drunk driver. The services are Friday night and she will not be able to join us at the GTG.

It is at Margarita Grill (in Huntington, 23 Wall St.) . I have made reservation for 20 or so people on 3/21 at 7:30. I need to give him an exact number at leats 2-3 days prior. ( I told him the occasion and he promises to make it fun).
