Now I am just down right angry! I was trying to not let this jerk get the best of me but hes done it. I cant believe that the tapes were blank!!! You definatly have a case against him. Please keep me updated as to what happens so that when we go to small claims court we will be able to report on your status as well. Thanks. I hope you can get copies of the tapes made. Im sorry you had to deal with this.

Thanks, Deb. I will let you know if anything happens.
Some other bride had a court date with him, but she hasn't posted recently and I can't find her name to e-mail her to find out what happened.

Believe me, this guy is going to be sorry. I do not want any other brides to be deceived by his stories.

Either by the Web or print ads, I plan on letting the world know about Videomaker.

And we are contacting a lawyer on Monday.

My DH stopped by Marc's last night after his class. No one was home (or at least no one answered the door). The dog was there so Marc must still be around.

DH said it looked like several things had been taped to the office door. There was also a note there from someone demanding their video (Zack or Jack, DH couldn't tell) so we aren't the only ones.
My DH left our note there, too (not that we expect a response but we have to show the court we tried to settle this before suing him). He also looked in the mailbox (to see if Marc had been home recently) and there was a letter from the 6th District Court (another unhappy customer, most likely!).

We're going to try to stop by during the day and demand the original tape he used to film the Wedding. I think a surprise visit during work (when he thinks he's safe from visits) is the only chance we have of getting our video.

Have you thought about putting an add in the newspaper calling on other clients that have had problems to contact you? Post on all the bridal websites too. It sounds like you could put together a class action suit against this guy!
