Jen, I hope all is doing ok.
I agree get married, however, maybe Tahiti can wait. I'd spend every second with my mom. Life is too short & too precious.

I hope your mom is having a good day today. I wanted to tell you that you are marrying a truly wonderful man. Two wedding ceremonies is a terrific idea. In terms of Tahiti, I think you should do whatever you, Matt and your mom think is best. Since you asked for our opinions, if it were me I would not go. I only say that because I know your mom is being very strong right now for your wedding. I know in my heart that she will be there and be fine on your wedding day. After the wedding is over it might take a lot out of her because now the goal has been reached. Just a thought. You and your family continue to be in my prayers.

I'm glad things are looking good. Keep your head up, and do whatever feels right. I am so glad your Mom will be able to attend at least the ceremony.
Matt is absolutely WONDERFUL for suggesting 2 ceremonies. Tell your Mom we're all pulling for her, as always, she remains in our prayers.

Jen-This is the first time I saw this.
I am so sorry to hear everything you have been going through. Sounds like you've got a very strong Mom who is pulling everything she has to share your wedding day with you and Matt. My prayers will be with you always, even after Sat.
(My Mom has been in remission for over a year for breast cancer and last year faught off ovarian cancer.) My point in sharing that is... there really is nothing like a mother's strength and will power. I'm sure this upsets your Mom more than words could say. Try not to think negative- only positive thoughts since you've got good news from the Doctors. Your Mom will be there will bells on and the biggest smile you've ever seen. Go to Tahiti, and when you get back, I'm sure she'll be waiting to hear all about it and see all your wonderful pictures!!! Enjoy your day- and know that we are all thinking of you~

So sorry you have to go through all of this At least she's doing better this week. Even if she can't make the entire reception, she'll be in both of your hearts.
