Calling all Sunset Harbour Brides!!!

Do any former brides have photos they can share with me? I'm going to the florist in a few weeks and I'm trying to see how things look there. Any pics of the ceremony outside would be extremely helpful!!!!

I was only able to find one review of Sunset Harbour that had pictures. Unfort there are only a handful of us who are booked there or had their wedding recep there.

Thanks...I've actually seen Jenny's and I've spoken to her. She is really helpful and was able to give me the lowdown. I wish I could find more...it seems like more and more people are getting married there now, but not that many people that have already been married there have posted pics. Maybe someone will show up

We were there a few weeks ago (in March) for our tasting. We went outside and they had redone the ground and put pavers in instead of that ugly beat up green cement.

Andy was away on vacation so we weren't able to ask him some questions that we wanted to ask. We had Gina (I believe) and when we asked her about the deck being redone (which Andy previously told us) she said 'no, not this year'.

I'm hoping she was mistaken bc Andy told us they were redoing in by either April or May so it would have more of a garden feel as well.

What did they tell you??

We were supposed to get married in Jamaica and have a small-med reception there when we got home. Obviously bc of the economy we decided to move everything to SH.

We chose it b/c of location and price for what you get. I think it's a 'diamond in the rough'...not that many people know about it, which makes it more personal. I also loved the idea of a place that wasn't having 3 weddings at one time...we get the entire place to ourselves! Sure there are some outdated things about it, but all in all not enough to ruin the happiest day of our lives. Also, Andy Pita (owner) is extremely accommodating and very generous. He seems willing to please and wants our day to be as special as we want it to be, even if it's not part of his package he throws stuff in!!! Also, the food is quite delicious and I found their choices of better quality than most catering halls, where everything essentially tastes the same.

My only advice if you decide to get married there is to not judge them based on their chosen vendors. Some vendors they have at their bridal shows are not very 'up to date' if you get what I'm saying. Mainly photographers; they just seemed behind the times.

Their best vendor is Absolute Entertainment...those guys are really worth a listen; we booked them and cannot wait!!!!!!
