Hi! So I was talking to a few people on here about possibly starting a WW thread... obviously it won't be exclusive anyone can come on but I am starting tonight and there are a lot of other brides that recently started, that it might be good to have a support system where we can come on at least once a week and share our progress, etc.
We can keep everything on the same thread that way everything is easy to find and you can track your own progress and find everything easily.
Maybe once a week we can give an official 'Weigh in' (don't worry you don't need to put your actual weight, maybe just what you lost for the week).
We can also share recipes, suggestions, etc to keep each other motivated. What do you guys think?

Re: Calling Brides on Weight Watchers!
I weighed in today, and gained a pound!!! ***??!! I felt like I was losing weight...I used more of my flex points since last week I didn't lose any, so I tried to change it up by using more points... I guess it's back to a measly 22 points this week!
and time to start hitting the gym again

Weekly Weigh In!
Went to my meeting tonight, lost 4.8 lbs! I am happy about that but not at all near my goal weight!!!
I just wanted to share some things that I realized this week as I was getting used to the program.
Tracking points really helps you look at your habits. Before, I just ate anything at any time. Tracking is SOOO annoying but definitely prevents me eating more! I am so much more aware now.
I also noticed that there used to be so many times where I would just finish what was on my plate... even if it didn't taste good! I mean, what a waste! Tonight I had dinner and it tasted good (sausage and peppers) but it wasn't sooo delicious that I had to finish every last bit. So now I have room for more flexibility with my points, since I ate a lot less than I usually would have before. Point being: stop eating when you are full! You don't HAVE to lick your plate clean!
Drinking a lot of water is so great! It fills you up and just makes me feel better overall.
Anyway I hope you ladies had a good week!!!!

Hey Ladies!!! I have weigh in number 3 today after a short week though because I went on Friday and am going away.. so it's only been a few days... I hope I didn't gain anything! I cheated a little last night
I second the light and fit, I eat one every day... and the popcorn is sooo good!!! A 100 cal pack of pop secret has hardly anything.
Also I have been eating baby carrots with hummus which is so good.... and I love the WW string cheese.
Good luck everyone!

So far Ive lost 44 lbs in 6 months on WW. I want to lose 56 more by the wedding and Im determined. I really was horrible the past week and Im vowing to myself to get back on track this week. I am going to work out like crazy this week and track like ive never tracked before! lol
What foods do you eat to get rid of those choclate cravings or any other cravings like pizza ?
Aside from eating better what other exercises are you doing? I think I am going to go back to a meeting this week.
I do Zumba twice a week and try to work out the other 3 days at the gym. Ussually do the elliptical or stairclimber for 30 min and then some weights. If i don't want to leave the house i do the wii fit or biggest loser on the wii.
Im proud of myself!! Last week i gained 2 lbs boooo i felt disguisting. Then i weighed in this week and was down 5.4 lbs!!!! This week my goal is 1.9 lbs.

wow 44 lbs in 6 months, thats amazing.. congrats!! It's so motivating to hear, and makes me realize I can reach my goal (50 lbs by June 2011).
How often do you work out, and what do you do?
Thanks! You can def do it if you put ur mind to it. It doesnt feel like a diet. It just becomes your lifestyle.

The trick is to keep going. Just keep doing the program, and do your best not to get discouraged, and you'll be successful. And go to meetings

ITA. Even if you have a bad week; it's only 1 out of 52 weeks in the year. All journeys have ups and downs.

Re: Calling Brides on Weight Watchers!
Hey ladies.
Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!
So This is my third week and I am really bummed. I have been trying so hard to stick to the plan but went away for a few days and really had a hard time. The first day I was ok but we ate out nearly every meal and it was so hard! Not to mention everyone was drinking so I definitely cheated a lot :o(
I have my meeting on Tues and I just know that I have probably gained this week and I am so sad. I was so happy because the first week I lost almost 5 pounds and am afraid now that I have gained it all back. My only hope is that work starts again for me tomorrow and hopefully it will be easier to stick to this.
I guess I just wanted to vent a little! Thanks for letting me do that! Hope everyone had a better week than I did!
