Hi! So I was talking to a few people on here about possibly starting a WW thread... obviously it won't be exclusive anyone can come on but I am starting tonight and there are a lot of other brides that recently started, that it might be good to have a support system where we can come on at least once a week and share our progress, etc.
We can keep everything on the same thread that way everything is easy to find and you can track your own progress and find everything easily.
Maybe once a week we can give an official 'Weigh in' (don't worry you don't need to put your actual weight, maybe just what you lost for the week).
We can also share recipes, suggestions, etc to keep each other motivated. What do you guys think?

Re: Calling Brides on Weight Watchers!
I lost 4 pounds this week! But here is the weekend and this is where I have the most trouble!
I need to start excercising! I was also thinking that instead of weighing in on a saturday I would weigh in on a Monday - so that way I HAVE to be good on the weeknd.
I hope everyone has a great weekend

I know the feeling!!! I have started trying as hard as I can to save my bonus points for the weekend so I don't feel as bad!!! I skipped my meeting last week because I couldn't make it so I will see how tuesday goes!

Re: Calling Brides on Weight Watchers!
The weekdays are fine - I bring my food to work and I count my points!
The weekend comes and I am so torn with having fun and having cocktails or staying within my points.
My new plan is to be good one night out of the weekend, so last night I was good and stayed within my points - tonight I will have fun!
Hopefully the scale won't be too bad on Monday :(
Good luck on Tuesday - it will be great!

I think it's totally fine to do this!!! The whole point of WW is that you can lose weight by still enjoying food and being able to eat what you want. It's all about staying in control. I think that going out one night and splurging is what we need, honestly! At first it was hard because I had dinner plans 2 nights and drinks, etc. After that, I realized, that it's totally not necessary to go out for dinner 2 nights in a row! I mean it's bad for me health wise and also it's so expensive!
Good luck I am sure you will make it though the weekend lol!

Re: Calling Brides on Weight Watchers!
i found such a great find!! It's similar to hummus minus the fat and cals. Lentil Dip- by Oasis Classic Cuisine 0 fat and only 10 cals per 2 Tbsp!!! Great with veggies, as a spread, or on toast!! The same brand also makes black bean dip and traditional hummus.

Re: Calling Brides on Weight Watchers!
BTW this thread is great! Weight loss is a struggle. Esp for those of us who LOVE and really enjoy eating. I started in September and am 17lbs down. I love the WW recipes. The many mushroom soup is great. Their chicken marsalas are good. Mashed root veggies, zero pt italian inspired soup, are all great recipes and i highly recommend trying them out. Oh and one my FH loves is the Sun-dried tomato stuffed chicken.
