Can anyone recommend a B&B on the North Fork?

I'd love to get away for the weekend before the holidays (even though I JUST got back from my honeymoon! lol)

I'm not too familiar with the North Fork as far as towns to visit - someone suggested Shelter Island, but don't know if I want to deal with the ferry. We're looking for something cozy, quaint and relaxing

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

What about Sag Harbor? I know it's not the North Fork, but The American Hotel looks very quaint!

My FH and I have been wanting to stay there, but whenever we called up they were booked (summer months).

I know you said the North Fork but my cousin owns a B&B in West Hampton that you may want to check out. Here is the website. http://www.theinnonmain.com/

Teri..I can check with my sister, she lives in Southhold. It is beautiful out there in the fall/winter...very quiet, a little too quite for me! But Christmas out there is the absolute best...they even have Christmas Tree farms where you can cut down your own tree! Sooo Charles Dickens!
