Okay...so there are many really good Rieslings out there. Love the Chateau Ste. Michelle Riesling but my all time fave is:
St. Antonius Kreuznacher Kronenberg Riesling Kabinett. from the Nahe region in Germany. Hard to find... was only able to get this in Massachusettes for years. You can find it in NY now...

I really LOVE this one as well... Dr. Loosen makes two great Rieslings...

and their other one is a bit more, bt worth it (still $20-$25) - Riesling Blue Slate... looks similar to the one above.

Hogue Riesling is really nice, and goes down real easy'

Also... Urban Riesling is good

Most of these Rielings are between $10 - $12.

Cheers!

Peter Mertes - it's German & for reisling - you cant do any better than German!

Depending on the place it can run anywhere from $8.99 - $12.99 a bottle

My top 2 favorite Rieslings are Dr. L (Loosen) Riesling or Chateau St Michelle. They are both reasonably priced and delicious.

My dad is a huge wine guy - he always tells me that you should never spend more than $15 for a bottle of reisling. basically any german reisling is amazing. I like to buy a bunch in the 10-12 range and drink to see which ones I like.
