We are using the Times Square Orchestra, an 8-piece band. We saw them a number of times in their showcases and we think they are great. We have them for our afternoon reception for $4000. They have a website - www.timessquaremusic.com

I am using them to, they also go out as a 5 piece band for a bit less money...not sure exactly how much.

My fiance were on Long Island for a week last month and saw like a million bands. We ended up going w/ Timepiece, a Franklin Wayne Band. Its 8 pieces & $5,000. Most of the bands we saw were in the range of $4000-$8,000. Everyone's idea of reasonable is different, but bands I liked that were less expensive than Timepiece were Ron James Orchestra (I think they were about $4300) & The Mystic (I think about $4400). I've thrown away all my stuff, so I don't have phone numbers for any of them, but I know all these bands have web pages. Good luck.

Full House is a great band

And their website is www.fullhousemusic.com . They do wedding showcases even though they are a bar band that has been around for about 20 years. They are really great.

Skybox- how do you know that?

Not to insult you or anything but I find it odd that your one and only post on this board is about a band breaking up. How do you know that? If it is true- then whoever you are I thank you very much for the heads-up. If not, then shame on you for causing me an extreme about of stress on a Monday morning!

We are going w/ Franklin Wayne, too. We booked Heart and Soul. Dealing with Frank was GREAT. He`s been in this business for over 20 years, and I have cousins who have used his bands over the years and this like the Milestone problems just don`t happen. Good Luck to all.
