Can anyone tell me why there is a giant RAT

in front of the Bagel Boss on Old Country Rd??? It's really evil looking and it really makes me not want to go to ANY of the stores in that shopping center!!

Ohh we had these where I work for a while--it means someone is using non-union workers for something, or union workers striking.

It's probably a union going on strike---is it a blow up one--like 30 feet tall??

it means non-union workers are working on the site. Unioners put the rat up wherever there is non-union employment

They had one of those up by the new PC Richards in Bayshore while it was being built. That's where a bunch of protesters were killed by a truck.

they will put the rat up and leave if they have work - union workers protest when they do not have other work - but there is a decent amount of work for them right now - you will sometimes see them around 4 when they are done for the day
