Can crinoline be pressed?

My crinoline for my gown has been rolled up for the past 9 months since I took it home from Davids and it's terribly wrinkled. However, no one will see it. Can I/should I press it? Does anyone know if that's possible? Thanks!

Can crinoline be pressed?

I think it melts if you iron it! I would try hanging it in your bathroom while you shower several times to see if that helps to straighten it.

IT WILL MELT! Hang it in the shower as Misha suggested. Just keep it hanging for a while and it should smooth out.

Yes it can be pressed--bring it to any reputable cleaner and they will do it for you--depending on your dress it will affect the way your dress falls-- i borrowed mine and it had to be done as well --and because my dress was very simple along the skirt it was noticeable before we had it pressed Laura
