Can I ask for this for is this abnormal?

Ok..
Please don't think I'm crazy but I really want my dog to be at my ceromony. I'm getting married outside. Is it even normal to ask if they will allow this?

i would ask the hall where you are being married.... i've seen pics of dogs at the ceremony...

maybe have him bring the rings down in case you dont have a ring bearer...that would be cute

Ok..maybe I will ask though. I mentioned it to a few friends and they said I was nuts!
I really want him there though..he's like my son!

I love that... I wanted my Cat to be in it... but my mom thinks that is a little over the top!!! hahahah

Does anyone know if this is even allowed?!? I mean..he obviously wont be at the reception but I want him at the ceremony. He's really well behaved!

Three Village Inn...and it will take place outside. My FH said I'm crazy for even suggesting this..but I'm really serious/ He's such a good dog and was in my life BEFORE my FH!!! He's a chocolate lab..so cute.

I would call the hall and ask, Just tell them that he would go home right after the ceremony...

Of course! Not crazy at all. I've actually seen this a lot lately. Lots of places will allow pets to take part in outdoor ceremonies.

I'm thinking because it's 'my day' they may say yes but because he's 100 lbs they may say no. :(

You are not nuts. I wanted my Pug to be our ring-bearer, but the church would not allow it

Definitely check with your hall & also make sure there is someone who can watch the dog or bring him/her home for the rest of that day.
