I would so rather have people call me or email me than paying for the RSVP, and more postage... Besides they can get lost in the mail and I already have too much mail LOL
Is that really bad or is it becoming more common practice. I mean probably 80% of the people invited are people I talk with often anyway...

Hi Amy, I'm Sasha...
How many do you need? The seal n send I posted is under $100 for 100 and there are cheaper ones...definitely a great way to go. No reply envelope, no double envelope, save on stamps, still have a response card.
Breathe fellow JT bride - you will be OK!
i agree overall with teh ladies do the RSVP - just go an inexpensive route.
Look at you SB....taught u well

Re: Can I go without RSVP cards?
Well, I am going to have response cards BUT I think that if you went without it, you just might be one of the first in a new trend. Times are changing and I am sure that there will be more people going without response cards in 5 years or so. It's less formal, but if you like it, do it.

I also think Seal-N-Sends are a great way to go. Willow Tree Lane had some really cute ones for $86.90 for 100!

It sounds like you are really interested in doing it that way. Remember, it's YOUR wedding!!! I don't prefer it personally, but I'm just some chick from the internet!!!!!

Re: Can I go without RSVP cards?
I say order the RSVPs for the folks you know will likely send them (older folks) back and then let you other friends and family RSVP by mail. My friend who recently got married was so ticked off because rather than sending their response card back, everyone was e-mailing or calling her. So, I say gauge the tendency of your guests and purchase RSVPs according to that.

Seal and sends are great! They only cost $.37 going out and then the returns are only $.19.
what about setting up a wedding website that guests can rsvp on? its a little more reliable than sending an emailed rsvp.

Go with the cards...you will have enough phone calls from those who 'forgot' to send them!
