Can I have some..

hugs... My mom and I have been arguing and fighting constantly (sometimes about things not even related to the wedding) she just left the house and told my father that she needs some air. She never does this....she never leaves the house at 8pm...its because we just had an argument over the stupidist thing!!....I dont know what to do anymore...I feel like crying....

Don't worry.....It's a HUGE time of stress for EVERYONE!!!!!! She just needs to get some air and blow off steam!!

But the thing was, that it had nothing to do with wedding planning...it had to do with some stupid show on TV...how crazy is that right?

I'm sorry you guys have been getting into it. They can be pains in the a$$, can't they!! Let your mom cool down...it was probably a good idea for her to get out for a bit. Just keep reminding yourself that she loves you.
Everyone handles stress differently, and it sounds like your when your mom is stressed she gets argumentative. Believe me, I totally understand - my mom does the same thing! Whenever she's stressed or worried, she picks fights with me. Just try to diffuse the situation as much as possible. I know it's A LOT easier said than done, but just try to bite your tongue if you know she's just looking to argue. I should take my own advice!

yeah definitely latina! that's totally bizarre. everyone on LIW must be like because of a TV SHOW!? how about next time you're about to get into the next argument you say 'alright mami, one more peep out of you and that's it! this wedding is kaput, do you hear me!?'
