Can I have your opinion on these?

I found invitations that I love and I just showed them to a friend of mine..granted we have VERY different taste but she told me that they are the ugliest things she's ever seen! ANd then she called them hideous!!
Are they hideous???!!

I love the colors but I don't care for the tree branches on them - far from hideous though - that was harsh.

they are a little busy for my taste, but still very pretty. IMO, don't go by what others say -- this is about you & your fiance. you're the only ones who have to like it.

Actually, they are quite pretty. I have very different taste as well, so I'm used to people not liking certain things that I like. She could have been more tactful in her response, however.

Everyone has different tastes and with respect to your wedding - the only thing that matters is whether you and your FH like them.

I personally do like the invitation - but i also tend to go for more non-traditional invites. Where did you get them from?

I love so many of them on the site..I'm waiting for some samples and then I'm going to make a decision.

Do you guys think that I can use the colors of that invitation if my wedding colors are none of those colors??
My wedding colors are pink and orange [pale].
Will anyone notice???

Hmmm is your friend blind? Not only are they NOT hideous, I love them!! Is that letterpress? That was my dream for my invites...I love them, really. I wish I would have done something like that.

ETA: I could be very biased because my colors were silver and blue...

I don't think they're ugly... I like them! Everyone has different taste! As long as you like them, go for it!

As for them not being your wedding colors, I don't think anyone will care too much... maybe you can ask them to make it in your wedding colors?

Awww thanks..I'm not sure if they are letterpress..I'm waiting for the sample still but she has another website..www.papelvivo.com and I got some samples from there and they were SO nice too. They are so thick feeling and you can definitely feel the letters on them but I think if they were letterpress they would cost way more then they do.
ANd yes, my friend is an idiot!!!

I think they're letterpress...and if they're not, they look like it. I love both the sites. Love all the invites. These are gorgeous and I would personally love to get something like this for someone's wedding!
