Can I just say I love Bed Bath and Beyond

FH and I went to Bed Bath and Beyond last night and they were AMAZING!!!! They sat with us, explained to us things that i wouldnt even had thought about!!! They then walked with us and HELPED US REGISTER!!!! They actually set a table for us so we can see how our fine china would look. The woman who helped me was out of control!!! I can not stop raving about her. She literally set the table and we kept changing our mind on what forks we liked, or which glasses went better.... it was hysterical. We had a great time and FH even enjoyed it b/c she helped us put things in perspective, so we were not just randomly adding items to our registry.

We even made an appointment to have her come around with us again next week.

This just proves to me even more how much Fortunoffs STINKS! They just give you the gun and go, they really dont give you the one on one that we got at BBB.

I LOVE BED BATH AND BEYOND!!!!!!!!!!!

Yay congrats!! I am with you, i canceled my fortunoff registry and am so thrilled with beth bath!!!

BBB is great. I noticed that they are alwasy adding new stuff on their website.

WOW were on two sides of the earth, I had sucha great experience at Fortunoff. They didnt just give me the scanner.
When i went with my cousin, they let us do our own thing. They werent pushy to go with us, my cousin doesnt want to start where they told us to.
we went when we wanted to. When i registered i chose to have them come with us!! however i didnt start with china i got to choose where i want to start with. i picked pots and pans because that is where i knew the LEAST!!!

Honestly i felt that BBAB was messy. I didnt register there, but i thought a lot of things were not up to what i think should be done in a retail store. I feel that fortunoff has some of the same stuff but it was a lot more upscale.

I can't say I had the same experience. My consultant at Fortunoff was great. She was very informative and offered to help us scan. She was so sweet and was very knowledgeable as were all the sales staff. They are all professionally trained in their departments and very helpful. I was feeling so overwhelmed about choosing all the right gifts but she explained everything in a very easy and calm manner and told us to enjoy the process, not stress. We came back to her several times to ask questions and she was great. We wanted to go out on our own the first time but our next trip I will definitely make a personal appointment to shop with her. Shopping at Fortunoff is way different than BBB. It's clean, neat and organized and I felt it was just much more professional. I just liked the experience and so did my FH. He wasn't looking forward to it but our consultant joked with him and made him feel more a part of the process. We're definitely going back and I recommend it to any newly engaged couples.
