Re: Can I use my place card as my favor???

You can either put their names on those, or you can put the sachets on each place at the tables and do simple seating cards for each couple. It depends on how many sachets you have, since you'll be doing seating / escort cards for each couple and you may have enough sachets for each person.

I think those are lovely favors. Lavendar is so beautiful and I've had a homemade sachet in my 'unmentionables' drawer for years that always reminds me of the person who gave it to me!

ITA...I wouldn't attach the place cards to them, so it's more clear that those are meant to be the favors.

Re: Can I use my place card as my favor???

I don't think its strange at all. I'm actually attaching placecards to my favors so that I don't have to designate anyone to hand out favors. I wanted to make sure it was one per couple and they are a little big to leave at the tables so that was the solution!

Re: Can I use my place card as my favor???

You can definitely use your place cards as favors. All you have to do is attach a tag to the sachet's with the person's name and table number.

Re: Can I use my place card as my favor???

I love them but this is my only thought. . having strong aromas around food can affect taste so having lots of lavender on a table could potentially make your food taste less good. . but that's just what my chef friends tell me. . I don't really know

either way I think they are great favors

I like it more as a favor not as a placecard.

Re: Can I use my place card as my favor???

ahhhhhh.....i don't know I'm on the fence about this. hmmm. I'm not big on favors and honestly i don't take them when i go to weddings unless it is something that i can use, candle, candleholder, coaster etc.. I do have a thing about scented items since i'm sentitive to smells and will sneeze till no end.

But hey this is a personal preference and if you like it and feel its appropiate, then do it...there's no right or wrong with this. ....just my opinion and being honest

obviously if you use this as place card / favors then you have to personalize each sachet, per person not couple....correct? what if someone wants 2? You know there are going to be some guests that hog..
