How 'little' is it? If it is extremely short (i.e. right below your butt), I would probably opt for something else. However, if it is not, dress it up a little with some jewelry and you'll look great.

I say yes....dress it up with a HOT pair of sandals or some sparkly jewelry or a nice shawl/wrap, or a bold colorful accessory!

I'd say open toe shoes. Pantyhose...I don't know. I hate them!! The wrap would be a nice touch. But what would I know about fashion...I live in freakin Maine.

no...i think it's classy...it was very expensive (got it on sale ) it goes to my knees, i guess...it's got small flower buds embroidered onto it...
it provides alot of coverage (not low cut, not strappy, knee length, etc.) for a 'little black dress'...
i think i will wear black (or off black pantyhose) with open toed strappy shoes...
will that look stupid?
and i'll carry my pashmina(sp?) in the event that it's chilly!

Yes.. no panty hose.. nice sandals

If you do wear panty hose, I wouldn't wear open toe shoes especially if the panty hose are black.

Absolutely!!! I had m e party in Nov. and my friend didn't where pantyhose. I think panty hose are becoming a under garment of the past. I don't like them much. Woman look much sexier without them..JMO Do you think you will be uncomfortable? If so, get the nude ones that are sandal foot, so you can wear the sandals.

Did you have a pic of the dress? Something from the website?

Re: can i wear...

i guess this is sort of what i mean by the tank-y style of the dress...
it's not actually this dress.
it's by the same brand 'INC' but it has no lines on it like this dress...and it has little embroidered flowers on it...
i love it. but i'm not sure about wearing it for a wedding.

LOL
That is perfect for a wedding. If your dress is similar, I think it will be fine.

Re: can i wear...

yes, it is almost the exact dress (style wise) but it has flowers on it.
i will wear it to the shower i have earlier that same day. (then i'll probably be overdressed!)
ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I think you should wear it to the wedding Kel! I find no reason why it wouldn't be appropriate...especially for an evening wedding!

If you wear it to the shower with a pink or lavendar pretty cardigan it will look fine and then wear a wrap for the evening and add some evening jewelry.
